Soap that reduces your fat levels? The world sure had some crazy fads back then. Wait, I think some things like that are probably still going around. Oh well.
I remember "Ayds" from when I was a kid. Completely stupid and useless of course. But they were done in when AIDS arrived in the early 80s. I wonder if they're still on the market under another name?
Obesity Soap, I bet the sold a lot of that though. Women used to eat tape worms to stay thin. You could order them from a Sears Catalog and you could order heroin and a syringe as well from them. And we think the world is worse today!
I hope so. You should get something more than just worms and heroin. Though you just might not care about the worms if you take the heroin! They needed a combo package!!
and you probably see worms even if they're not really there when you take some heroin..... though I wouldn't really know, off course.... I'm shocked you would even think I would... :)
Bile beans and obesity soap - AWESOME! I'd like to place an order please... :) So funny. And my mom used to buy those AYDS things, my brothers and sisters thought they were candy and ate some.. Once.. They were awful.
I always think chemical shit storm when I see those words. Only once have I been wrong. It was whole wheat, but to make it pretty sounding they said "low fat" instead.
I actually have since the owner of the company came to English lessons in my school, but they were rather weird tasting. They do help though. And they packed in some luxurious wraps so your mind tricks you that you are eating something divine :)
My favorite is Coca-Cola's "Vitamin Water" which is advertised as a health drink but is LESS healthy than Coke. It's apparently horribly unhealthy... But there ARE vitamins added!
when I see pictures with kittens in fridges I always wonder if those people buy new fridges after discovering their cats in them, or they just act like nothing happened..

I wonder...I did have a kitten jump in the fridge once. She was very sneaky. A VERY short time later I heard crying. I followed the sound to the fridge and there she was! Poor thing....I wrapped her in blankets until she was all warmed up! So you never know...but I am gonna go with most of them are staged. MOST of them...
yes, but did you buy a new fridge after that or scrubbed the old one with tones of detergent, because I couldn't possibly take food from a place where a cat's bum has been previously.... I don't even like to eat at houses of people who have animals in their houses.
